PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning liquid for a magnetic head which has an excellent cleaning effect for a magnetic head and can be soluble with a general-purpose solvent and to provided a magnetic head capable of preventing the sliding surface between the magnetic head and a magnetic recording medium from being contaminated and preventing the occurrence of brown stains by applying the cleaning liquid for a magnetic head. SOLUTION: This cleaning liquid is prepared by dissolving a partially fluorinated amine salt compd. of perfluoropolyether having carboxyl groups on molecular ends in a solvent. When the obtd. cleaning liquid is applied by using a wash-leather, a perfluorocarbon-base solvent is used as a solvent. The obtd. cleaning liquid may be held on the sliding surface between the magnetic head and the magnetic recording medium. |
