The method is for checking an office line connection of telephone. The checking method comprises the steps of: informing a micro-computer of a hook-off state when a user lifts up a receiver for call originating; detecting whether the telephone is correctly looped to the office line by the micro-computer; and generating an error tone through a speaker when the looping is not correctly performed.
