A morning call method in a key system having a key-phone telephone and several general telephones performs a morning call function(informing an appointment time) in the several general telephones and the several key-phone telephones. The morning call method stores a telephone number to be morning-called into a registration buffer by using a predetermined telephone's number, sets a morning call time of a corresponding telephone being morning-call registered, stores it to the registration buffer of the key system. The morning call method repeats steps for storing the telephone number of the corresponding telephone and the morning call time by a predetermined number of times, transmits a ring signal to the corresponding telephone when the morning call time equals to the present time, clears the morning call time, and transmits an audio message to the corresponding telephone in case of a hook-switch's off.
