The switch socket includes the socket base (10) which has an interior ring (11) whose lower half is painted white on the outside and is covered by an exterior ring (13) which is externally painted with a layer of black paint. The exterior ring has a frosted base with a circular groove (14) in which two pins stand vertically towards the base. The ring piece (20), attached to the groove, two opposing pin holes to receive the pins and two wires (23) connected to a current source. Light from the LEDs (22) is transmitted to the exterior by the upper half of the interior ring by the frosted surface. The LEDs are regularly spaced and comprise several colours.
