The taps (2,3) of a bath are fixed to a frame (4), like a bridge. This slides on two guide rails (5) which are along either side of the bath. The taps are moved backwards by pushing on the frame or moved forwards by pulling on a chain (8). The taps are joined to hot and cold water supplies by flexible pipes (7) which are long enough to allow the frame to move. The frame is made in stainless steel or any material that is not affected by water.
