The cap is made from rubber or flexible plastic. It has an attachment cup (7) which slides on to, and grips, the lower end of the mobile phone unit (1). The front of the cup is attached to a shell-like cup which channels the user's voice to the microphone (2) through a hole (8) in the cup wall.
