As the power is on, the microcomputer(20) judges whether the cooling room temperature detecting elements(TH1,2) are not defective. In case the input port is detected to be defective, the potential inputted is read thru the external temperature detecting element(TH3). When the result of the external temperature detection shows that the external temperature is above 24 degree C, a high level signal is outputted for 5 minutes to the output ports(O1,O2) at every 20 minutes intervals, and repeats cut off of the output for 15 minutes. Then the compressor and cooling fan are driven, so as to send more cool air into the cold room(12). In case the external temperature is within 14-24 degree C, the output port is driven for 2 minutes at 20 minutes intervals.
