The subject of the invention is a corset forming a seat for a disabled person, having the general shape of an open shell made of a rigid or semi-rigid material, which adopts at least partially the shape of the seat, pelvis, trunk, arms, legs and/or head of the patient for whom it is intended and which is capable of receiving the latter in a seated position. According to the invention, at least one of the parts (1-4) on which the body of the patient is supported is attached to a contiguous part by means of a connection member (5, 7), capable of being elastically deformed under the effect of the patient so as to allow him/her freedom of movement. <IMAGE> |
