<p>A compression clip (10) of the present invention comprises a bolt (16) and a self-tightening member (14) having two side sections (28) and a grooved intermediate section (24) therebetween. The intermediate section has a hole (18) for receiving the bolt. Preferably, the intermediate section has grooves (26, 32) on both an interior and exterior surface (22, 30) thereof. After tightening of the clip, the intermediate section flattens to become somewhat planar and the side sections are compressed inward to securely engage a guide rail (12) or wear strip within the clip.</p> |
