摘要 The battery system is provided with a multiple of silver oxide cathodes and aluminium or aluminium alloy anodes. A gas separator (25) separates hydrogen resulting in the battery block (15). The gas separator, the start valve (26) for activating the system, a self-priming circulating pump (27) and a heat exchanger (28) with a bypass (29) and a regulating valve (36) are arranged in a sequence in a closed conducting path (30). In the inactive storage condition, at least the battery housing (16) pref. also the vols. of the closed conducting path (30), the gas separator, the start valve, the pump, and the heat exchanger are filled with an inert gas. The electrolyte storage (37) is connected on the inlet side at the outlet valve (39) of the gas separator, and at the output side to the start valve (26). The outlet and start valves are designed as multi-way valves, such that for the activation of the system, the electrolyte storage at the input side, lies at the gas outlet (38) of the gas separator, and at the output side at the input of the circulating pump.
