FIELD: low- and average-pressure up to P= 1 kgf/sq.cm gas supply systems. SUBSTANCE: cock includes body which may be made from brass, bronze, steel, cast iron, spring-loaded plug made in the form of inverted cone with straight-way port made in the form of groove cut over perimeter of plug equal to half circle plug width of one port in pipe union of cock; remaining part of circle forms sector-segment closing the port in outlet pipe union of cock in the CLOSED position. Chamber for packing the grease between flange and end of plug is formed on larger diameter of plug cone. In screwing the sealing plug into hole provided in flange, grease is forced through central axial passage into perpendicular inner passages on larger and smaller cones of plug. Plug is turned by means of wind handle or by means of socket wrench. Proposed cock makes it possible to lubricate of plug with no discharge of gas into surrounding space at the shortest time and minimum consumption of grease. Sealing plug is provided with washer to avoid contact between this plug and plug of cock. When washer is removed, sealing plug rests against plug of cock and turning of cock plug is excluded due to locking effect. Central hole of plug may be cleaned by means of spoke which is impossible in cocks of other construction. Cock may be used as mono-cock and as three-way cock for gas-stove and gas-and-water heater.
