SUBSTANCE: as distinct from conventional two-step vibrochemical treatment methods (roughing treatment with abrasive bodies, followed by finishing treatment with steel balls), proposed method involves single-step vibrochemical treatment with glass balls having dia. 2.5 mm. Method can be used for vibrochemical treatment of metal workpieces, predominantly coin-minting workpieces and those made of non-ferrous metals and bimetals coated with non-ferrous metals. EFFECT: higher degree of surface finish; greater output of equipment used.
