Safety device for pressure vessels, esp. for deeply cooled liquefied gases, with a variable armature. Has two separate valves (10, 20) attached to a pipe (3), linked by locking mechanisms (17-19, 22, 29, 30-32) such that both valve bodies (14) clear the entire flow cross section (38), and only one valve body (14) can be closed whilst that of the other valve remains fully open.
