A voltage pulse controllable DC electronic device (1) including a shunt circuit with a power semiconductor (U DOLLAR 1), an accumulator circuit (R4, C2, D1), a transfer circuit (R5, D4), a control circuit (C3) for actuating the shunt circuit, and a discharge circuit (R3, Q1, C1, R1) for accelerating the discharge of the control circuit capacitor (C3), is disclosed. An AC electronic device (1) is also disclosed. Such devices are useful as shunts, devices for protecting a circuit from overvoltages, or simple or discriminative remote controls for auxiliary circuits.
