FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: attachment part (lock) which can be arc-welded to component has form of resilient sleeve and is provided with longitudinal split. In preferable design version both end faces of part are identical to simplify sorting out for provision of accurate arrangement in welding equipment. Both end faces are provided with inner threaded hole. Welding equipment for welding elongated attachment parts has feed channel and axially displaced holder for attachment parts. Instead of clamping chuck with split, axially displaced holder is made in the form of rigid pipe to hold attachment parts in the form of resilient sleeves. unit for connecting complementary part to attachment part has complementary part which can be installed on attachment part by friction method and positive engagement method. Complementary part can be provided with projection in hole for engagement with holder installed on outer wall of attachment part. EFFECT: improved quality of fastening.
