FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: mixing the technical lewisite with epoxy compound at mole ratio arsenic : epoxy groups = 1:(2.8-3.0) and exposition of the reaction mass at room temperature for 18-22 days. The formed reaction mass can be used as the end product for preparing nonovergrowing paints and compositions exhibiting biocidal properties or subjected for the further processing to obtain metallic arsenic and plastics. EFFECT: simplified method, enhanced safety, decreased cost, improved ecology.
