Excavating shovel for earthworks

The excavating shovel (10) has a tooth-type cutting edge (32) with two side walls (14,16). There are separate outer walls (22,24) attached to the side walls. The outer walls are attached at an angle greater than 90 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis of the lower cutting edge. At least one of the outer walls is slidable relative to the downward slope of the cutter. There is an additional front cutter (34) which is slidable with, and is built on, the outer wall.
