The anchoring device has a displaceable anchor plate (12) from which anchor bolts (13) or similar fasteners protrude. The anchor plate has an elongated hole (14) through which the clamping screw (6) can pass with a measure of play. The head of the screw permits a sliding movement on the side of the anchor plate turned away from the flange (4). A sliding plate (15) may be held between the head of the screw and the anchor plate. The anchor plate is the base of a U-shaped anchor stirrup whose shanks are connected together by a cover plate with aperture.
