A steam turbine plant (1) includes a steam turbine (2) with its low-pressure section (2c) connected on the exhaust-steam side to a condenser (12), and in which a high-pressure section (2a), of the steam-turbine (2), connected on the output side to the low-pressure section (2c), is connected on the flow-off side to the condenser, via a cooling duct (40) to which is connected a suction line (46) for removal of cooling air (L,L') fed to the steam turbine (2). A exhaust fan (48) is connected into the suction line (46), and the cooling air (L') fed to a medium-pressure section (2b) connected on the steam output side of the high-pressure section (2a) can be taken off via the suction line (46).
