<p>A pseudotype vector virus particle, comprising (1) as viral RNA in the particle, a recombinant vector comprising a retroviral LTR and packaging signal regions and further comprising a coding region encoding a non-retroviral protein or genetic control sequence located downstream of the packaging signal or encoding a heterologous retroviral sequence useful in treatment of disease, such as an HIV protein sequence; (2) as capside proteins, non-SRV capsid proteins; and (3) as envelope glycoproteins, SRV envelope glycoproteins. The invention also includes packaging cell lines for production of these pseudotyped retroviral vector particles.</p> |
