This sheet die has variable width, and into the sides of the nozzle outlet, parallel to the extrusion gap, limiting elements or adjusters are introduced, adapting it to the desired width of the plastic sheet product. In the new design, pairs of adjusters (12) are introduced on both sides of the nozzle (1). These can be moved in the outer region of the nozzle, immediately before the exit slot (11), and are equipped with suitable seals for the covered region. There are at least a further pair of adjusters (13) passing through the side walls of the nozzle, behind the exit slot (11), which may be moved in and out.
