FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine starting devices. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine starting by means of additional device made in the form of cylinder liner made of ceramics with copper wire or tape located in its layer for use as electric heater, or cylinder liner made of cast iron in two layers with electric heater in the form of porcelain insulators fitted on copper wire placed inbetween. Electric motor is switched on from driver's cab by means of power switch. EFFECT: increased service life of storage battery, cut down time taken for starting. |
