The adjustment is moved on a threaded or toothed bar (1) which has a segmented cross-section so that it has at least one threaded or toothed segment (2) and at least one thread or tooth free segment (3). The adjuster consists of two washers or nuts each of which has a segmented inner thread or inner cogging matching the threaded bar. The two washers or nuts can assume at least one position enabling the adjuster to move freely along the threaded or toothed bar, and can assume at least one second position allowing a steady positive connection of one of the two washers or nuts with the threaded or toothed bar.
