By the shape parameter the shape pattern is attained. The shape of the cold-rolled iron which controls the working roll and the intermediate roll according to the shape pattern is first controlled. The shape detector determines the shape data about the cold-rolled iron which is first shape-controlled, with the form of electric pressure signals. To the difference between the determined actual shape data and the aimed shape data, the injection pattern of cooling oil, the cold-rolled iron is controled secondary.
