<p>The present invention relates to an axle or bogie construction for a vehicle, comprising support means (3) provided between an axle (2) and a frame (1) of the vehicle, suspension means (7, 8) provided at the ends of the support means, the suspension means being secured at their one end to the support means and at their other end to the frame of the vehicle directly or indirectly, and a triangular support (5) attached at one point by means of a joint centrally to the axle and journalled at two points to the frame of the vehicle on its opposite sides. In order to reduce vertical movements of the frame of the vehicle when the axles are turned, the suspension means (8) on one side of at least one axle (2), when the axle is viewed in the longitudinal direction, extend essentially upwards from the support means (3) or the springs and the suspension means (7) on the other side of the axle essentially downwards.</p> |
