The uncoupling device has a tubular clutch release bearing (1) which moves axially along a guide element (2). The release bearing is joined to a fixed part (40) and has an axle (6). The disengaging fork (3) is swivel-mounted on the fixed part. At least one pivot point (7) is spaced apart from the axle (6) and activates the clutch release bearing by means of a contact part (13) of an actuating element (10) so that the clutch release bearing is moved axially along the guide piece. The clutch release bearing activates the contact part according to a contact line (8) intersecting the axle (6) independently of the position angle of the disengaging fork. The disengaging fork has two arms (37,38) whose free ends are in the form of curved fingers (33).
