The invention relates to an electromagnetic valve with a valve housing (1) having a plurality of valve components required for its operation, e.g. a closing body fitted to the magnet armature (5) and a magnet core (7), in which the closing body is movably guided in relation to a valve seat (11) and the armature (5) in relation to the core (7), and with a magnet coil (14) influencing the actuation of the armature (5) in order to block or open the pressure medium connection between at least one pressure medium inlet (9) and outlet channel (19) in the valve by means of the body, where there is a seal between the outer periphery of the armature and the inner periphery of the valve housing. In parallel with the seal (3) there is a nozzle (16) in the armature (5) having at least one means (22) of varying the nozzle cross-section dependently upon the temperature, where, as the temperature drops, the nozzles has an open cross-section for a pressure medium connection between a pressure medium chambre (4) extending inside the armature (5) and a pressure medium chamber (12) outside the armature, and as the temperature rises the nozzle aperture is reduced or closed.
