A device is disclosed for inductively transmitting electric energy adn data between the stationary side and the steering wheel side of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle. The device has several separate inductive circuits. Each circuit has a stationary primary current transmission element and a secondary current transmission element connected to the steering wheel. A preferred embodiment is characterised in that the inductor cores (14, 16, 18, 20) have a U-shaped cross-section and in that plastic bodies (15a, 17a, 19a, 21a) with wound-up coils (15, 17, 19, 21) are inserted into the inductor cores, the inductor cores (14, 16) on the side of the steering column lying opposite the inductor cores (18, 20) on the side of the steering wheel so that the open sides of their U-shape face each other. The separate circuits reduce interference sensibility of the device without the need for additional energy accumulators or additional electronics. |
