The invention relates to a concrete product for promotion of afforestation, used in an environment, in which carbon fibers are planted in predetermined areas of the outer surfaces of a concrete product body (12) and a quantity of water required for germination of seeds is supplied. The carbon fibers are constructed such that carbon fiber filaments (15) are formed into a predetermined configuration of strand, nonwoven fabric, woven fabric, knitted goods of a combination thereof. Thus a large surface area of the carbon fibers serving as an attachment carrier for microorganisms can be ensured whereby plant seeds having been naturally attached to the carbon fibers and germinated are nourished by microorganisms, which attach to the carbon fibers and are made sludge, to grow to attain afforestation even if the plant seeds are not filled in or planted in the concrete product body (12), and in the case where the concrete product is used under water, it can attain purification of water due to fixation of biological films based on attachment of microorganisms.
