Inner space of diffuser and confuser are divided by perforated partitions 7 and 8. Space 11 between housing 1 and diffuser communication with resonance chamber 4, and space 13 between housing 2 and confuser 5 communicates with outlet branch pipe 6. EFFECT: reduced noise level, simplified design of muffler, reduced hydraulic resistance. |
