Machine making and finishing mouldings, e.g. refrigerator inner shells, deep-drawn from heated thermoplastic sheet

This machine makes and finishes mouldings, deep-drawn from a heated sheet of thermoplastic and comprises a moulding station and sequentially-linked device to edge-trim the mouldings. In this new assembly, the device trimming the edges includes a horizontally-moving mounting form (17) for the moulding (16). The mounting (17) swings about a vertical axis, i.e. in a horizontal plane. A drive (40) provides this motion. A nibbler (27) is included, with a drive (23) to advance the mounting. A drive (38) moves the nibbler (27) horizontally, transverse to the advance of the moulding.
