FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine lubrication systems. SUBSTANCE: oil filter has housing 1, bottom 2 with oil supply channels 3 and central oil outlet channel 4, filtering element 11 with bypass valve in inner space provided with shutoff member 19 and housing 20 with holes 22 and bypass post 5 with outer flange 10 on which filtering element 11 is mounted. Hole 24 is made in cover 23 of filtering element 11. Additional valve body 27 is connected to cover 23 from bottom. Hole 24 is closed by shutoff member 26 from below. Body 27 has inner flange 28 to limit travel of shutoff member 26. Complex-shape post 5 consists of two hollow coaxial cylinders of different diameters fitted one into another and connected by solid ring through depth of overlapping the cylinders. Inner cylinder is covered by partition 9. Outer cylinder is closed by cover 16 with hole 17 closed by shutoff member 19 of bypass valve. Body of bypass valve is secured on cover 16. Holes 12 and 13 are made in ring between cylinders of post 5. Spring 21 is placed between shutoff members 19 and 26. Expansion spring 32 is fitted between electric contact 30 secured on housing 1 and cover 23. Shutoff member 19 and 26, springs 21 and 32, covers 16 and 23, bottom 2 and electric contact 30 are made of conducting material. Bodies 20 and 27 are made of dielectric. EFFECT: improved protection of engine from contaminated oil without increasing overall dimensions of filter, timely signalling of filter contamination. 2 dwg |
