FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine is intended for making medical tampons and it has electric motor, body with spindle installed in it for possible rotation. One end of spindle is connected through transmission with electric motor, and other end carries device for catching material to be wound. Also provided are guide rod located in body in parallel to spindle, lever mounted on axle, carriage secured on rod at side of catching device, roller mounted on other end of rod and interacting with lever, spring located on rod between roller and body. Rod is installed in body with possibility of axial displacement under action of lever. Carriage is made in the form of fork and installed in side walls of fork are sliding bearings in which spindle is installed. Mounted on axle in fork is clamping strip with possibility of turning and pressing by flat spring in direction of spindle. Material catching device has at least one slot in spindle surface.
