FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: housing is intended for internal combustion engines in which axes of cylinders are parallel to axis of output shaft. Housing is assembled out of cross and longitudinal plates forming load bearing closed structure. Cross plates consist of two halves forming holes for shaft. Cylinders are installed in holes of cross plates and are secured by clamps. Holes for bearings of conversion mechanism are made in longitudinal plates. Housing has also holes for fastening engine hood and for three-point fastening of housing to chassis. EFFECT: enlarged improved reliability of fastening.
