JOINING OF STRETCHED WOOD MEMBERS

FIELD: designing and manufacture of stationary and, mainly, mobile (dismountable-assembled) load-bearing building structures of wood. SUBSTANCE: joining is offered to produce with the help of toothed wood straps with all joints being enclosed in metal holder consisting of two membersof section interconnected by bolts. In joint assembling transverse compressing of joint zone is made to increase bearing capacity and joint reliability due to elastic deformation of material of joining members and arising additional friction forces, that is attained due to more reliable contact of connected members and inclusion in work of material of metal holder. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
