A device for controlling cut-off means on a power line (3), including contact means (12, 13) connected to two respective power line portions (3a, 3b), at least one (12) of said contact means being movable, and retaining means (10) for resiliently retaining the contact means in mutual contact. In the event of an overcurrent in said power line, said contact means repel one another and move apart counter to said resilient retaining means. The device further includes control means (2) electrically connected to said contact means and responsive to the electrical energy generated between said contact means (12, 13), whereby they actuate the cut-off means (14) when said electrical energy reaches a predetermined value, and thus cut off said power line. |
