The hook-shaped ends of the wire element are flattened in a plane which is parallel with the plane of the wire element. The hook-shaped ends are flattened in a plane which is perpendicular to the plane of the wire element. The degree of flattening of the flattened ends is constant over their length. The degree of flattening of the flattened ends is variable over their length.
