PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To additionally increase the carry of a golf ball which has plural kinds of dimples varying in diameter, depth and sectional shape by footing the sectional shape in the parts on the side lower than the points at a specific distance below the edges of the small-diameter dimples to the same shape as the sectional shape in the lower parts of the large-diameter dimples. SOLUTION: This golf ball has the dimple pairs which are the same in the sectional shape of the parts on the side lower than the point 0.01mm below the dimple edges 3 of the small-diameter dimples 1 as the sectional shape of the lower parts of the large-diameter dimples 1. The large-diameter dimples having the same sectional shape as the sectional shape of the dimples of the smallest diameter are not limited to one piece and may exist in >=2 pieces. Such golf ball is formed with the recessed part pairs which are the same in the sectional shape of the recessed parts for the small-diameter dimples as the sectional shape in the lower part of the recessed parts for the large-diameter dimples on the surface by feeding a cutter for cutting the dimples into the hemispherical surface of the master mold down to the depths different from each other from the home position while rotating this cutter.
