<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the time and labor to perform operation and generate data while considering an overlap of areas and to improve the operability by displaying a specific area foremost on a screen without fail when plural areas are displayed on the screen. SOLUTION: A document preparation device consists of an input device 1, a display output device 2, a memory and a magnetic storage device 3, a print output device 4 such as a wire dot printer, and a controller 5 using a microprocessor, etc. And, the device is provided with a means which displays plural areas on a screen one over another, a means which specifies the specific area among the areas, and a means which displays the specified specific area foremost among other areas. This display priority order specifying function is included in the display output device 2. Consequently, when several areas which are displayed on the screen overlapping one another and the one screen is displayed, the specific area is displayed foremost automatically without fail. Further, since the screen display that the operator intends, is displayed foremost, the operability of document editing editing is improved.</p> |
