PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suede like foamed rubber sheet arbitrarily set to various physical properties such as strength and elasticity and rich in high grade feeling and durability. SOLUTION: A powder of prellminarily produced vulcanized solid rubber is compounded with a compound for producing rubber foam and the obtained compsn. is molded into a sheet wherein foamed parts and solid parts are non- uniformly dispersed by a compression mold method. Subsequently the surface of the sheet is buffed to cut air bubbles of the foamed parts of the sheet and, if desired, predetermined patterns are applied to the buffed surface by gravure printing and, subsequently, topcoat is applied. |
