PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the electronic image pickup system in which image data stored in an external FDD device are transferred to an electronic image pickup device and displayed thereon. SOLUTION: An FDD device 80 connects to an interface 67 of a camera 1, and when compressed image data from the interface 67 are fed to the FDD device 8, the compressed image data are stored in an FDD 84 in the lump. When the image data from the FDD 84 are sent from an interface 81 of the FDD device 80 to the camera 1, the data are displayed on an LCD 6 of the camera 1 and also displayed on an external display device such as a home use large sized television screen. |
