PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause drivers to have a sense of correct usage of a hybrid electric vehicle. SOLUTION: A display 1 is composed of a displaying part 2 and a limp controlling means 3, and the limp controlling means 3 is so programmed as to suppress the operation of a motor as a vehicle driving source forcedly, when the travelling distance of the vehicle reaches a specified value from the full charging of onboard batteries. This limp controlling means 3 is connected to a limp home lamp 34 as a limp displaying means and a limp distance indicator 40. If an accumulated travelling distance reaches a specified value, the car driving is restricted to stop-and-go driving forcedly by the operation of the limp controlling means 3 regardless of the power generatable condition of a generator. The operation of the limp controlling means 3 is displayed by the lighting of the limp home lamp 34, and what kms are travelable afterwards without being charged by an external power source after the operation of limp control is displayed by the limp distance indicator 40. When the batteries are fully charged by an external power source after that, the limp distance indicator 40 is reset by the limp controlling means 3. |
