摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease fuel consumption and to curtail an exhaust gas by controlling the operation of a generator on the basis of judged information from a road condition judging means. SOLUTION: A target APU output setting means 10A samples the elelctric energy of charging and discharging of batteries 1 by a sampling period set by a sampling period setting means 10D, and calculates an optimum APU output (a target APU output) from this sampled power, a battery loss and an APU loss. In addition, an addition/subtraction correcting means 10B performs addition/subtraction correction according to the running road conditions of a vehicle, concerning the target APU output in accordance with the electric energy of charging and discharging of the batteries 1 like this. If a running road condition for a vehicle changes, a sampling period setting means 10D shortens the sampling period only by a specified time after that according to the running road condition of the vehicle road-condition-judged, and makes it possible to match the value of the target APU output to the change of the running road condition swiftly.
