PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a block like biodegradable foamed buffer material which is molded in a specific shape by a method wherein a bulk like buffer material wherein a material containing starch containing amylose is foamed to a specific density is bonded mutually with a polyurethane adhesive. SOLUTION: A bulk buffer material of 6-800mm<3> apparent volume wherein a material containing at least 90wt.% of starch containing at least 45wt.% of amylose is foamed in 0.017-0.035g/cm<3> density, is bonded mutually with a polyurethane adhesive to make a block like foamed buffer material of 0.03-0.08g/cm<3> bulk density. Polyurethane is applied as methyl ethyl ketone solution, hardened by reacting on absorbed water on a surface of a bulk like foam following evaporation of the methyl ethyl ketone, and bonded. For application of a binder to the surface of the bulk like foam the bulk like foam is put into a container with a stirrer, binder solution is supplied thereto while stirring, and stuck to uniformly. Then, it is transferred to a tool, which is pressed by a pressure of about 0.0075-0.02kg/cm<2> with a cover body, and bonded. |
