PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feed excellent in palatability, readily handleable, distinguished as a raw material for a thick feed and a formula feed, etc., by using a raw material hardly usable singly by blending soybean skin with concentrated soybean bean milk plasma, heating and drying. SOLUTION: Soybeans are ground and winnowed to give soybean skin, which is mixed with a concentrated soybean milk plasma obtained by concentrating soybean milk plasma as a supernatant liquid prepared by precipitating de-fatted soybean milk at an isoelectric point when soybean protein is produced. The mixture is stirred while being heated with steam at 120 deg.C by using a steam cooker and dried until a water content reaches 10% to give the objective feed which is heavier than soybean skin, is brown, sweet and fragrant, has 4mm average particle diameter, is readily loosened, thus convenient for feeding, has a composition of 10% water, 16.4% crude protein, 3.0 % crude fat, 19.5% crude fiber, 9.0% crude ash and 42.1% soluble nitrogen-free substance, is excellent in palatability and is useful as a raw material for a concentrated feed and a formula feed, etc. |
