PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high function, high density reliable power electronics unit by taking out the gate electrode wire of a semiconductor pellet from the center of one metal seal plate and employing the positive and negative electrode metal seal plates as DC terminals and an intermediate block as an AC terminal. SOLUTION: An intermediate block 4 composed of a conductor is divided into two blocks through central space section 3 and an interlayer insulation plate 5. Positive and negative blocks 6, 7 are arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of intermediate block 4 through an insulator 8. Positive and negative electrode metal seal plates 10, 11 are connected electrically with the upper surfaces of positive and negative blocks 6, 7. A gate electrode wire 12 is taken out from the center of positive electrode metal seal plate 10 and the positive and negative electrode metal seal plates 10, 11, are employs as DC terminals while the intermediate block 4 is employed as an AC terminal. This structure realizes a high function, high density, small sized reliable power electronics unit. |
