PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a communication channel in a short time in a radio communication equipment provided with plural channels capable of performing communication for which a frequency control channel is not determined beforehand. SOLUTION: This radio communication equipment is divided for respective groups and the plural frequency control channels and data channels are set to the respective groups. The channel information is held in a channel information storage part 10, and when a calling request is present, a free channel in the data channels is selected and calling signals are outputted by the frequency control channel. When the calling signals are received by the frequency control channel, data communication is performed by the specified data channel.
