PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitch bend function which actualizes abrupt pitch variation through easy operation and can produce discrete pitch bend data with high playability in real time. SOLUTION: The figure shows a pitch bend wheel 24, switches 20 and 21 nearby it, and LEDs 22 and 23 which illuminate when the switches 20 and 21 are pressed. The pitch bend wheel 24 is able to move forth and back, and so controlled normally as to increase the pitch when moved forth and decrease the pitch when moved back. The switches 22 and 23 are pitch bend switches and output set pitch variation quantities instantaneously when pressed during a musical performance, thereby varying the pitch of the musical tone that is being produced. With the switch 20 pressed, the LED 22 illuminates and the pitch decreases. When the switch is released, the pitch is put back to the original pitch. With the switch 21 pressed, the LED 23 illuminates and the pitch increases. When the switch is released, the pitch is put back to the original pitch. |
