PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an oscillation wave motor and the like by fixing an oscillator for forming a driving wave to the driving face of an oscillatory resilient body such that an electromechanical energy conversion element abuts, on the other side thereof, against a stationary object. SOLUTION: A bonded electromechanical energy conversion element, i.e., first and second piezoelectric element plates 1a, 1b, are arranged on the lower surface of a disc-like oscillatory resilient body 2 to produce an oscillator which is then secured such that the electromechanical energy conversion element 1a, 1b abuts, on the other side thereof, against a stationary object 8. A columnar central shaft 4 located in the center of an oscillation motor is screwed into the stationary object 8 and the oscillatory resilient body 2 is secured to the central shaft 4. This structure reduces the size of oscillation wave motor while enhancing the performance. |
