<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the surface having a fine structure and high reproduction fidelity by providing at least partly polypropylene on a layer made of plastic having the surface opposed to a tear resistant layer. CONSTITUTION: Plastic having at least partly polypropylene is used for the layer of plastic having the surface opposed to a tear resistant layer. As a result, the thickness of the layer of the plastic is even slightly faithfully reproduced in the profile of the surface to increase the effective life of the sheet. The safety for the influence of high shape stability and water solution is obtained. The method for manufacturing it comprises the steps of heating the layer having the polypropylene until it is softened, then embossing the free surface of the layer by an embossing roll, and then cooling the entire layer or sheet having the polypropylene. To emboss it, the embossing surface is made of steel or advantageously of the embossing roll made of polysiloxane rubber is used.</p> |
